The glitery feel to this is probably I would say... is what stands out the most aside from the blue. I do not know if I would concur that blue would have been the Ideal color for this photo. I like perhaps a lighter color would have worked better here. I only say that b/c the saphire blue does not really complement the green stem very much as they are both cool colors. My recommendation is that you utilize something that stems along the lines of something more pastel the next time. That's it for my suggestions. The clarity is certainly there and the water like emotion gives the overall photo an interesting appeal.

Haha no it's not a filter. I was standing right in front of a window where the sun shone through. I used a spray bottle to spray some water on the window, held the flower in one hand, camera in the other, moved around a little to get the right angle (the sun hitting the little water drops created the bokeh) and snapped away
