Critiques
Firstly, the depth of field in this image is just lovely, as I think it provides just the right amount of detail without including anything that might detract from the subject itself.
The color and texture is simply beautiful, and I think it is this that attracts me most to this image.
While I am not a fan of centered compositions, I think in this instance it works quite well in drawing all attention to this gorgeous creature.
