A beautiful, simple macro shot of a droplet can't be so stunning, in my opinion. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>

So, I asked myself the reasons why it impressed me so much, and I found some.

First, the colors: the green, so saturated and "punching", is drawing itself out of the diagonal of the picture. The blue bokeh-ed in the background is just the perfect counterpoint to the green I mentioned above.

And, of course, the fact that both colors are reflected in the droplet (with the savvy addition of a red strike) completes the overall beauty of this simple and elegant image.

Perfect bokeh, wonderful colors, elegant composition: I think this is what brings this photo out from the bunch.
